Hub Schedule

Drop-off is from 8:20–8:30 a.m. and pick-up is at 2:30 p.m. Please follow this regular Monday–Thursday schedule for The Hub. Fridays are School-from-Home days for all students.

The Hub may occasionally adjust hours or close for special events, Orientation Days, Assessment Days, or other needs. Families will be notified in advance so they can plan accordingly.

  • Access: Access means having what you need, when you need it. During Access, students work on their weekly calendar, collaborate with peers, and get support from teachers. Students have three Access periods per day, Monday–Thursday.

  • Explore: Explore gives students time to dive into interests and passions through hands-on exploratory classes. Options may include baking, creative writing, Mythbusters, game logic and design, interior design, and art studio. Students have two Explore periods per day, Monday–Thursday.

  • Lunch: Sack lunches are delivered by 10:45 a.m. Students are expected to clean up after themselves.

  • Take a Break (TAB): TAB is time to reset—join a Community Meeting, play outside, or unplug from schoolwork. TAB happens twice daily Monday–Thursday.

  • Fridays: All students attend school from home to finish weekly assignments. Students may also attend special events, excursions, or meet with teachers by appointment.

Focus Days

On Focus Days, students will attend school as usual, but class time blocks will shift to allow for extended learning opportunities. Focus Days will be used as needed for lessons and activities that require dedicated time, such as High Trails programming for 6th graders, International Towne prep for 7th and 8th graders, mentoring sessions, and other focused learning experiences.
